Linda Nadine Bingham Gardner

Born in Sanger, CA; attended schools in Sanger, Artesia, and Lomita, CA

After graduation from San Jose Metropolitan High School, San Jose CA; attended West Valley Community College, Saratoga CA and San Jose State University, San Jose CA

Married George W. Gardner; had two children

Worked as a library clerk at West Valley College; Georgia Tech and Emory University.

Became interested in genealogy and took classes at Emory University.

Joined Daughters of the American Revolution through patriot Samuel Kellogg of Connecticut.  Supplemental patriots Isaac Kellogg, Connecticut and Samuel Bassett, Rhode Island.

Served DAR with two terms as chapter regent, three terms chapter registrar.  Two-two year terms as Idaho State Registrar; one term as Idaho State Recording Secretary and various state committees; Northwest division committee chairman.  As Idaho state membership chairman it is my job to research and prepare applications for membership.

Volunteer positions include docent for the High Museum, Atlanta, Georgia; Ombudsman for the Elderly through Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership.

Linda is Brinsley’s 6th great granddaughter.
